About the Trainer

Meet Christine

Pinnacle Dog Training was born from a lifelong passion for dogs and a belief that every dog has the potential to become a confident, capable, and reliable companion.

Christine’s journey with dogs began at the age of nine with her first dog, Max, a rescue Beagle adopted from a rescue. What began as a childhood passion quickly developed into a lifelong dedication to understanding dogs and helping them succeed. Christine taught herself the foundations of obedience and house training, and created backyard agility courses for Max—an early glimpse of the hands-on and creative approach she continues to bring to training today.

Throughout her experience working with dogs, Christine has worked with a variety of breeds, personalities, and backgrounds. She has particular experience with puppy mill survivors, understanding that these dogs may require a different approach, patience, and consideration for the experiences that have shaped their behavior.

At Pinnacle Dog Training, Christine believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to training. Every dog is an individual, and effective training starts with understanding that dog's breed characteristics, personality, experiences, communication style, and needs. Her approach focuses on building a strong foundation in obedience while creating training plans that are tailored to each dog and their owner.

Christine places a strong emphasis on understanding canine body language and behavior. Rather than simply addressing unwanted behaviors, she looks at what the dog may be communicating and works to understand the reason behind the behavior. By helping owners learn to recognize and respond to their dog's communication, training becomes more than commands—it becomes a foundation for a stronger relationship between dog and owner.

When appropriate, Christine also incorporates canine fitness into training. Structured movement and fitness can help build confidence, engagement, body awareness, and teamwork while strengthening the bond between dog and handler.

Christine is Pet First Aid & CPR Certified and fully insured, reflecting her commitment to providing knowledgeable, responsible, and professional care to every dog she works with.

Outside of training, Christine enjoys hiking and camping with her dogs. Her love of the outdoors is an important part of her life and influences her belief that training should prepare dogs and their owners not just for life at home, but for the adventures beyond it.
